About the Item:

It's that time of year when we pay homage to the famous Dock Ellis, who pitched a no-hitter while tripping on LSD on June 12th, 1970 while playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates!

Dock Ellis became a progressive icon who spoke out against the Major Leagues for its widespread negligence of drug abuse in the industry. Soon after, he became a counselor for recovering addicts in low-income areas and prisons.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Dock Ellis Foundation in their mission to empower minority communities by bringing home missing persons. They believe that everyone deserves to be safe and have a voice, regardless of their background or economic standing. They are dedicated to providing support and resources to families and individuals who are affected by crime and violence.
